Title:
BRIGHT PIGMENT DISPERSION AND METHOD FOR FORMING MULTILAYER COATING FILM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/225629
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a bright pigment dispersion which has excellent water resistance, is capable of forming a metallic or pearlescent gloss, and furthermore has high stability, and a method for forming a multilayer coating film. The present invention provides a bright pigment dispersion containing water, a wetting agent (A), a scaly bright pigment (B), and a phosphate-group-containing-cellulose-based viscosity modifier (C), wherein the bright pigment dispersion includes 0.1-10 parts by mass of solids with respect to a total of 100 parts by mass of all components of the bright pigment dispersion, and the viscosity of the bright pigment dispersion measured using a B-type viscometer is in the range of 100-10000 mPa∙sec under conditions of a rotation speed of 6 rotations/minute.
