A bristle for antibacterial cosmetic brushes which is a polyester resin filament that comprises 70.0-90.0 wt% polytrimethylene terephthalate, 29.2-9.9 wt% polybutylene terephthalate, and 0.8-0.1 wt% soluble glass which contains inorganic particles that contain silver, the bristle having recesses and protrusions on the surface; a cosmetic brush obtained using the bristle; and a process for producing the cosmetic brush.
