Abstract:
A broadband annular dual-polarization radiation element and line shape antenna
array applying the radiation elements, the radiation element is used to set on
a metallic reflection plate to form a communication antenna, and it includes
parts as follows: two pairs of orthogonal polarization symmetrical dipole,
which are used to transmit or receive communication signal; the balance which
is corresponding to each symmetrical dipole is used to feed each symmetrical
dipole; each symmetrical dipole includes two arms which are mounted on the balance
symmetrically, the two arms are balance symmetry and are line shape. The end of
each arm is mounted to the balance, the other end has a load line which is upright
down, and each arm has tune branch whose cross section area is different from the
cross section area of the arm itself. The broadband dual-polarization radiation
element has the character of broadband, high efficiency, high isolation, high
distinguish rate of cross polarization, and small scatter of beam width with
frequency changing, it can be used as a single antenna, and mostly, it is used as
an array unit of antenna array.
