Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention is a broadband Doherty power amplifier having a novel balancing network, comprising: a main amplifier and at least one auxiliary amplifier. An output end of the main amplifier and an output end of the auxiliary amplifier are respectively connected to a balancing network; the balancing network comprises an inductive element, a transmission line, and a stub which are sequentially connected in series, the inductive element is connected in series to the transmission line, the transmission line is connected to the stub, and a free end of the stub is an open circuit. Direct current blocking capacitors in conventional balancing networks are removed, and losses are reduced. The equivalent capacitance value of the stub is greatly reduced compared with conventional direct current blocking capacitors, thereby increasing video bandwidth.
