Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention is a broadband three-beam array antenna, comprising: a metal reflector plate; a radiating element array comprising M sub-arrays, each of the sub-arrays comprising N radiating elements arranged in a horizontal direction, at least one of the sub-arrays being shifted in the horizontal direction; multiple phase compensation circuits performing phase compensation on the sub-array shifted in the horizontal direction; and multiple beamforming networks comprising two 3x3 Butler matrix circuits and two power distribution networks. The 3x3 Butler matrix circuits comprise a first input port for forming a first beam, a second input port for forming a second beam, and a third input port for forming a third beam. The present invention suppresses grating lobes by means of employing a solution of arranging radiating elements in different rows having a horizontal shift according to a specific rule, and performing specific phase compensation on a shifted radiating element in a feed network.
