Abstract:
The present invention uses a broadcast reception device which is characterized by being provided with: a broadcast reception unit which receives broadcast waves of a digital broadcast service; a separation unit which separates at least broadcast program information, electronic program guide information, and application-related information from the received broadcast waves, and outputs the respective pieces of information; an application acquisition unit which acquires a predetermined application on the basis of location information included in the application-related information; a memory unit which cashes the acquired predetermined application; and a control unit, and in that the control unit sets a period for which the caching of the application in the memory unit is valid on the basis of the electronic program guide information and the application-related information.
