It is possible to easily acquire an object in a broadcast program or a commercial without performing complicated operation. A broadcast reception system includes: broadcast reception means (313) for receiving a broadcast which broadcasts, simultaneously with a broadcast content, additional information correlated to an object in the broadcast content and containing a keyword information for identifying the object; a recognition vocabulary generation section (354) for generating a recognition vocabulary set correlated to the additional information by using a synonym dictionary (316); a speech recognition section (352) for recognizing a speech made by a viewer and, if a word recognized by the speech recognition result is contained in a recognition vocabulary set, identifying the keyword information corresponding to the recognition vocabulary set; and a display section (318) for displaying the additional information correlated to the keyword information identified.
