Disclosed are a broadcast signal transmission apparatus using a transmission identifier and a method using the same. The broadcast signal transmission apparatus according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a waveform generator for generating a host broadcasting signal; a transmission identifier signal generator for generating a transmission identifier signal for identifying a transmitter; and a combiner which injects the transmission identifier signal into the host broadcasting signal in a time domain so as to transmit the transmission identifier signal in synchronization with the host broadcasting signal.
