Abstract:
Disclosed are a broadcast transmitting apparatus and a broadcast signal transmitting method for transmitting a broadcast signal which includes a signal frame formed of a preamble area and a data area, wherein the data area includes a plurality of data symbols. The broadcast transmitting apparatus comprises a scheduler, a frame builder, a modulation module, and a transmission unit. The scheduler generates first signaling information and second signaling information. The frame builder maps the broadcast data into the data symbols of the data area, maps the first signaling information into preamble symbols of the preamble area, and maps the second signaling information into the data symbols of the data area by spreading the second signaling information in time and frequency directions, thereby forming the signal frame. The modulation module modulates the signal frame, and interpolates third signaling information in the preamble area of the modulated signal frame. The transmission unit transmits the broadcast signal including the signal frame in which the third signaling information is interpolated.
