Abstract:
[Problem] To achieve automatic and efficient sorting of brought-in medicines on an individual patient basis. [Solution] A medicine sorting device (1) comprises: a first accommodation unit (11) which stores a first brought-in medicine and a second brought-in medicine in separate compartments; and a second accommodation unit (14) in which the first brought-in medicine and the second brought-in medicine are stored on the basis of the types of brought-in medicines that are deemed to be the same. This medicine sorting device is provided with: a determination unit (64) which determines reference data; a comparison unit (65) which compares at least one characteristic of the second brought-in medicine with the reference data; and a transfer/sorting unit (12) which stores the first brought-in medicine in the second accommodation unit and which, on the basis of a result of comparison done by the comparison unit, stores the second brought-in medicine that is deemed to be of the same type as the first brought-in medicine in the same compartment as the one in which the first brought-in medicine has been stored.
