Abstract:
A browser starting method and apparatus, relating to the technical field of information. By filtering data unrelated to initial starting of a browser in task data needing to be initially started by an application layer when the browser is initially started, the browser starting speed and the browser starting efficiency can be improved. The method comprises: firstly obtaining task data needing to be initially started by an application layer when a browser is initially started (101, 201); then deleting data unrelated to the initial starting of the browser in the task data (102); and when the browser is initially started, running task data after the data unrelated to the initial starting of the browser is deleted (103).
