An engaging shoulder portion 212 is formed on an outer surface of the fixing portion 210, and an engaging groove 221 inserted into the engaging shoulder portion 212 is formed at an end portion of the knob 220. A receiving groove 310 is formed within the cover 300 for receiving the brush unit 100.

A slant surface 222 is formed on the outer surface of the knob so that the cover 300 is easily inserted into the knob 220 when removing the cover 300 from the brush unit 100 and then inserting into the knob 220.

The operation of the brush for cleaning the comb

according to the present invention will be explained with reference to the accompanying drawings.

First, when the brush is not used, the cover 3C0 covers the brush unit 100 and is engaged with the fixing portion 210 for thereby protecting the user from the brush unit 100 which is formed of a strength and sharp peak and preventing a damage or deformation of the same when the brush unit 100 is dropped down.

In addition, when using the brush for cleaning the comb, the cover 300 which covers the brush unit 100 and is engaged with the fixing portion 210 of the support member 200 is removed, and then the cover 300 is engaged with the knob 220.

Thereafter, the comb is cleaned by the brush unit 100 for thereby effectively removing the foreign substances such as a hair, scurf, dust, etc.

Figure 4 is a perspective view illustrating a brush for cleaning a comb according to another embodiment of the present invention, and Figure 5 is a cross-sectional view illustrating a brush for cleaning a comb according to another embodiment of the present invention.

As shown therein, the brush for cleaning a comb according to another embodiment of the present invention includes a brush unit 100 in which the end portions of a plurality of cleaning members 110 are grouped by a grouping member 120, a slidable member 400 in which a guide protrusion 420 having an engaging portion 421

formed on an outer surface of a slidable bar 410 engaged with the grouping member 120 of the brush unit 100 is formed on end, and a spring support groove 430 is formed on an outer surface of the slidable bar 140 formed opposite the guide protrusion 420, and a spring 440 is elastically inserted into the spring support groove 430, and a casing 500 in which an outlet hole 520 into which the brush unit 100 is inserted is formed at one end of a main body 510 having a hallow portion 511 with the brush unit 100 and the slidable bar 410, a guide groove 530 into which the guide protrusion 420 of the slidable member 400 is inserted is formed on an outer surface of the main body 510, and an engaging groove 540 into which the engaging portion 421 of the guide protrusion 420 is inserted is formed at both sides of the guide groove 530.

The casing 500 includes a casing main body 501 formed of an opening 512 and having an outlet hole 520 formed at one end of the same and an opening 512 formed at another end of the same, and a casing cover 502 for covering the opening 512 of the casing main body 501, so that it is possible to implement an easier assembling and disassembling operation of the brush unit 100 and the slidable member 400 in the casing 500.

The operation of the brush for cleaning a comb according to another embodiment of the present invention will be explained with reference to the accompanying drawings.

When using a brush for cleaning a comb, the engaging portion 421 of the guide protrusion 420 inserted into the engaging groove 540 positioned at an end portion of the guide groove 530 of the casing is separated by the spring 440 by pressing down the guide protrusion 420 of the slidable member 400, and then the guide protrusion 420 is forwardly pushed for thereby moving the slidable member 400. Thereafter, the cleaning member 110 of the brush unit 100 engaged with one end of the slidable member 400 is exposed to the outside through the outlet hole 520 of the casing 500. Thereafter, when the guide protrusion 420 remaining pressed is released, and the engaging portion 421 of the guide protrusion 420 is engaged with the engaging groove 540 positioned at the end portion of the guide groove 530 of the casing 500 for thereby fixing the slidable member 400. In a state that the brush unit 100 is exposed to the outside through the outlet hole 520 of the casing 500, the brush unit 100 brushes the comb for thereby effectively removing the foreign substances such as hair or scurf.

moving the slidable member 400, so that the brush unit 100 exposed to the outside through the outlet hole 520 of the casing 500 is inserted into the interior of the casing 500.

In this state, when releasing the guide protrusion 420 remaining pressed, the engaging portion 421 of the guide protrusion 420 is inserted into the engaging groove 540 positioned at an end portion of the guide groove 530 of the casing 500 by the spring 440, so that the brush unit 100 is received into the interior of the casing 500.

As described above, in the brush for cleaning a comb which includes a brush unit in which a plurality of cleaning members are grouped by a grouping member, a support member by which the brush unit is fixed, and a cover separated from the support member for covering the brush unit, the brush unit is selectively exposed, and the foreign substances attached to the comb are effectively removed. In the case that the brush unit is not used, the cover protects the brush unit. So, in the present invention, it is possible to effectively removing the foreign substances attached to the comb and to implement an easier storage.

In addition, in the brush for cleaning the comb according to the present invention, it is possible to effectively remove the foreign substances attached to the comb. The brush according to the present invention may be used for cleaning a predetermined member which is used

for washing cooking utensils or for paining.

Although the preferred embodiments of the present invention have been disclosed for illustrative purposes, those skilled in the art will appreciate that various modifications, additions and substitutions are possible, without departing from the scope and spirit of the invention as recited in the accompanying claims.
