Abstract:
Provided is a DC motor that can be reduced in size while choke coils and a capacitor are mounted to a brush holder to eliminate radio noise. A DC motor 1 is configured so as to be provided with a brush holder 14, the brush holder 14 being provided with a brush holder base 20 formed from an insulating material, at least a pair of brushes 15 for supplying electricity to a commutator 12, a spring 16 for placing the brushes 15 in sliding contact with the outer periphery of the commutator 12, and choke coils 17 and a capacitor 18 for eliminating radio noise, and the capacitor 18 is provided to a different surface of the brush holder 14 from the surface to which the choke coil 17 is provided.
