Abstract:
Provided is a brush seal capable of reliably fixing a low-pressure-side plate and a high-pressure-side plate in stable positions. In an annular brush seal (1) in which a brush body (4) having a plurality of wires is held between a low-pressure-side plate (2) and a high-pressure-side plate (3), the low-pressure-side plate (2) has a low-pressure-side concavity (24) recessed in the diametric direction and extending in the circumferential direction, the high-pressure-side plate (3) has a high-pressure-side concavity (35) provided to a position corresponding to the low-pressure-side concavity, recessed in the diametric direction, and extending in the circumferential direction, and a fixing member (5) is also inserted into a space (6) formed by the low-pressure-side concavity (23) and the high-pressure-side concavity (35).
