Abstract:
This polishing brush (1) comprises a cup-shaped brush case (4) and a brush-shaped grindstone (5). The brush-shaped grindstone (5) includes a brush holder (7) that holds a filiform material aggregate (3) which is a bundle of a plurality of linear grinding members (2) in which aggregated threads of long inorganic fibers have been hardened by a resin binder. The brush holder (7) includes: a base holder (8) that is fixed to a support shaft (44) of the brush case (4); and a ring-shaped holder (9) that is detachably fixed to the base holder (8) by fixing screws (10). At the time of replacing the linear grinding members (2), the linear grinding members (2) are removed from the base holder (8) and discarded together with the ring-shaped holder (9), and the base holder (8) part is reused.
