Abstract:
This brush unit is attached to a conductor, and contacts a shaft conduction part provided to a rotary shaft to electrically connect the conductor and the shaft conduction part. The brush unit comprises a recessed holder, a brush that contacts the shaft conduction part through an opening in the holder, and an urging part that urges the brush. The brush has a first brush part, and a second brush part having a larger external shape than the first brush part. An overhang portion of the holder faces a surface of the second brush part, to which the first brush part connects, in an urging direction of the urging part.
