Title:
BRUSHLESS ELECTRIC MOTOR WITH AN OUTER ROTOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2015/028466
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The invention relates to a brushless electric motor with an outer rotor, on which permanent magnet elements are arranged; a stator, which has electromagnetic stator poles (7), each of the electromagnetic stator poles (7) having a pole foot (17), a pole tooth (12), and a pole shoe (16) made of iron materials; an insulating layer (11) surrounding the iron elements of the stator poles (7); and an electric coil winding arranged on the insulating layer (11). The invention is characterized in that the pole shoes (16) have a cross-sectional free-form rounded section (13), preferably in the direction of the pole shoe end regions, and become narrower towards the ends in an outward direction at an angle > 90° relative to the pole tooth (12) on the lower face of the pole shoes (16) where the insulating layer (11) is applied. The insulating layer (11) on the pole shoe (16) extends perpendicularly to the pole tooth (12) on the surface (14) for the coil winding receiving area, i.e. on the surface opposite the insulating layer (11) on the pole shoe (16) in principle.
