Abstract:
A stator core 31 has an annular yoke 32 and a plurality of teeth 33 protruding from the inner peripheral surface of the yoke 32. An insulator 41 covers the yoke 32 and the teeth 33 to insulate the yoke 32 and the teeth 33 from a coil. A rotor 7 is disposed inside a stator core 31 with a predetermined gap provided between the rotor 7 and the front ends of the teeth 33. A protective member 20 is disposed between the yoke 32 and the rotor 7 and contains the rotor 7. The protective member 20 and the front ends of the teeth 33 form a closed space for containing the rotor 7.
