Abstract:
A brushless motor (18) in which current is supplied to coils (U1, U2, V1, V2, W1, W2) to rotate a rotor (27) is provided with a drive device (37) that switches between, and executes, the following: a first energization control in which energization of the coils (U1, U2, V1, V2, W1, W2) is begun at a first timing, and energization is continued over a first time period to control the rotation speed of the rotor (27); and a second energization control in which energization of the coils (U1, U2, V1, V2, W1, W2) is begun at a second timing the electrical angle of which is more advanced than the first timing, and energization is continued over a second time period which is longer than the first time period to control the rotation speed of the rotor (27).
