Abstract:
This brushless motor includes a stator and a rotor. The stator includes a circumferentially arranged plurality of teeth, and a coil which is wound on each of the plurality of teeth. The rotor is disposed facing the stator and includes a rotor core. The brushless motor is used as a pressurizing source for an electric brake system. The rotor is a consequent pole type rotor having magnet magnetic pole sections and iron core sections. The magnet magnetic pole sections are arranged in the circumferential direction of the rotor core and each have a magnet. The iron core sections are located between the magnet magnetic pole sections and function as magnetic poles different from the magnetic poles of the magnet magnetic pole sections.
