Abstract:
This brushless motor comprises: a stator 17 that is fixed to the inner periphery of a motor housing 16 and that has a coil 17b wrapped on a stator core 17a; a rotor 19 that is fixed to a stator coil motor output shaft 18; a rotor 19 that has a rotor core 23 disposed inside the stator and a permanent magnet 25 disposed in the rotor core; and a magnetic sensor 45 that detects the magnetism of the permanent magnet, wherein the magnetic sensor is disposed at a measurement position 2, which is separate from the permanent magnet in the rotational axis direction of the rotor and is on the radially outward side, and detects a magnetic flux component in the axial direction of the permanent magnet. Thus, it is possible to suppress an increase in cost while ensuring high detection accuracy of a magnetic sensor.
