Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a bucket for a portable toilet in which a handle is able to be immobilized so as not to pivot with respect to a receptacle while keeping the vertical dimension of a shaft hole of the receptacle small, and the immobilization of the handle is not released when discharging waste water by tilting the receptacle while grasping the handle. The receptacle (20) is formed having a shaft hole (30) that includes a circular hole (31) and a longitudinal hole (32) that extends upward from the circular hole (31). The longitudinal hole (32) has a front edge (32f) that extends linearly upward from a front end (31f) of the circular hole (31). The handle (50) has a shaft (54) that is inserted in the shaft hole (30). The shaft (54) is configured such so as to be rotatable within the circular hole (31), and so as to move from the circular hole (31) to the longitudinal hole (32) and to become lodged in the longitudinal hole (32) when the handle (50) is lifted and raised up. The vertical length H32f of the front edge (32f) of the longitudinal hole (32) is longer than a first shaft edge (54a) of the shaft (54).
