Abstract:

[Problem] To more effectively reduce noise occurring during the operation of engaging a tongue. [Solution] A slider (13), which is retained at a non-locking position at which a latch member (9) is not locked, pivots together with the latch member (9) during the activation of the latch member (9) and moves so as to enter between the latch member (9) and a lock pin (10). The front end (13a) of the slider (13) comes into contact with the front end (25a4) of a damper (24) before coming into contact with the stopper section (11f) of an operation button (11), and the slider (13) moves while contracting a damper spring (26). As a result, the speed of movement of the slider (13) is reduced. When the front end (13a) is in contact with the stopper section (11f), the slider (13) is at a lock position at which the latch member (9) located at a latch position is locked. Noise generated when a tongue engages with a buckle (7) is reduced because the slider (13) comes into contact with the stopper section (11f) at a reduced speed.
