Abstract:
A buckling waveform steel pipe (1) with buckling waveform sections (3). The buckling waveform steel pipe (1) is characterized in that said buckling waveform sections (3) have a shape represented by a sine wave determined on the basis of a buckling wavelength (Ln) that is 2.05-4.32 times the local compression buckling half-wavelength (L), which is represented by 1.72√(r∙T), and a peak height (h) that is represented as 8.00-16.25 times the pipe thickness (T) of the straight steel pipe sections (2), r being the radius from the center of a straight steel pipe section (2) to the middle of the pipe thickness and (T) being the pipe thickness of the straight steel pipe section (2).
