Abstract:
The invention is a buffer apparatus provided with multiple input ports (3), multiple buffers (5) from which information input from the multiple input ports (3) is written, and at least one output port (7). The invention is provided with: an input switching unit (40) that when information is input from an input port (3) assigned to a specific buffer group (50) among the multiple buffers (5), writes the input information to a write buffer (5) selected from the buffer group (50) on the basis of the information indicating the write position in the buffer (5) of the buffer group (50), and switches said write buffer (5) to another buffer (5) among the buffer group (50) in accordance with information indicating said write position; and an output control unit (6) that reads information from a read buffer (5) selected on the basis of information indicating the read position in the buffer (5) of said buffer group (50), and outputs said information to said output port (7).
