Abstract:
This buffer stopper has a base and an elastic body. The base is provided with a columnar shape having a through hole in a central part thereof and having recesses at both ends. The base is made of a material harder than a rubber-like elastic material used as a material of the elastic body, for example, made of a metal or a resin. The elastic body is an integrally molded article made of the rubber-like elastic material. The elastic body is provided with a pair of end elastic bodies fitted with the recesses and protruding in a tapered shape from both ends of the base, and the pair of end elastic bodies are coupled to each other with a central elastic body fitted with the through hole. In the bottom surface of each of the recesses, a seat surface for seating the end elastic body is provided. This seat surface has a form of a rough surface by, for example, embossing processing.
