Title:
BUILDING BLOCK SOCKET PIN WITH LOCKING PROMINENCE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2004/020060
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention is characterized by that an elastic band (a3) which moves upwardly and downwardly between the narrow and long two penetration grooves (a1) (a2) in a concave pin (a) is formed, a rack protrusion (a4) inside the elastic band (a3) is formed, and a protrusion groove (b2) in the middle of a convex pin (b) which is inserted into the concave pin (a) is formed in order that the rack protrusion (a4) maintains its insertion in the protrusion groove (b2) when the concave pin (a) is inserted into the convex pin (b).

Description:
BUILDING BLOCK SOCKET PIN WITH LOCKING PROMINENCE

Detailed Description of the Invention Purpose of the invention Field of the Invention and Prior Art related to the Invention The present invention relates to a method for assembling an assembly-type toy, more particularly to a method for inserting a convex pin into a concave pin.

In assembling a toy, a conventional method for inserting a convex pin into a concave pin maintains insertion between the inner sidewall of the concave pin and a convex pin by friction power, therefore if the insertion is shrinked or expanded by a outer temperature, there are disadvantages that a concave pin is inserted in a convex pin too lose or too tight.

In order to overcome the above disadvantage, a method for forming a spiral chin on a concave pin and a convex pin and for turning or thrusting pins is adapted but it is not commonly used.

Technical Objects of the invention The purpose of the present invention is not to maintain the insertion of a convex pin (b) in

the inner sidewall of a concave pin (a) by elastic power, but to maintain the insertion by rack protrusion (a4) which is elastically moveable inside of the concave pin (a) is inserted in the middle portion of the convex pin (b), therefore the convex pin (b) and the concave pin (a) are prevented from being shrinked or expanded according to an outer temperature.

Brief Description of the Drawings FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the present invention FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the present invention before which is assembled.

FIG. 3 is a perspective view of the present invention after which is assembled.

Construction and effects of the invention In order to obtain the objects as above, the present invention is characterized by equipping a rack protrusion (a4) which is elastically moveable on the inner sidewall of the concave pin (a) and a protrusion groove (b2) in the middle of the convex pin (b), which is described as follows, A narrow and long elastic band (a3) which moves upwardly or downwardly between a penetration groove (al) and a penetration groove (a2) of form of band, which are injected with elastic material on the concave pin (a) is formed and a rack protrusion (a4) is formed inside the elastic band (a3). In the meantime, a convex pin (b) which is to be inserted into a concave pin (a) has a streamlined top (bl) at the tip of the convex pin (b) and a protruding groove (b2), where a rack protrusion (a4) is inserted in the middle of the convex pin (b).

If a concave pin (a) is inserted into the convex pin (b) as above, the streamlined top (bl) of the convex pin (b) is inserted into the inner wall of the concave pin (a) with pushing rack protrusion (a4) outwardly. If the concave pin is inserted, the insertion of rack protrusion of the concave pin (a) in the protrusion groove (b2) is maintained.

Effects of the invention As above, the present invention provides a method for combining a concave pin (a) and a convex pin (b) which is not shirked or expanded by outer temperature by maintaining the insertion of the rack protrusion (a4) and a protrusion groove (b2) without maintaining the insertion between the inner wall of the concave pin (a) and a convex pin (b) by elastic power.
