Abstract:
A building display-based fire warning system and method, the system being characterized in that: when a high-rise building in a city has a fire risk therein, a fire monitoring platform may calculate a straight-line distance between position information of buildings where each registered building display in the city is located and position information of the high-rise building having the fire risk, and sends internal fault alarm information comprising the position information and the name of the high-rise building having the fire risk to a target building display by means of an Internet of Things when determining that a target building display whose straight-line distance with the position information of the high-rise building having the fire risk is less than a specified threshold exists and when the target building display is in a working state (202); and the target building display outputs fire warning information (203). The system and method may enable those elsewhere to know in time that a high-rise building has a fire risk, thereby preventing great economic losses.
