Abstract:
A building height calculation method and apparatus, and a storage medium. The calculation method comprises: acquiring an original picture comprising a building image (S101); projecting the original picture to the surface of a set sphere so as to form a projected picture (S102); performing edge detection on the building image in the projected picture, and acquiring the pixel height of the building image (S103); according to the pixel height of the building image, determining a projecting angle (θ) for performing projection on the set sphere (S104); and according to the projecting angle (θ) and a distance (L) between a collection position and a building in the original picture, determining a building height (H). A projecting angle (θ) of a building is determined according to an original picture comprising a building image, and according to the projecting angle (θ) and a distance between a collection position and the building in the original picture, a building height (H) is determined (S105), so that the building height (H) can be automatically and rapidly acquired based on a picture without manual involvement; and the cost required for acquisition is reduced while the acquisition efficiency is improved.
