Abstract:

Disclosed is a modular building, comprising: a plurality of building modules and connecting plates; the plurality of building modules are connected to each other in the horizontal direction and the vertical direction; for two adjacent building modules in the vertical direction, one part of a connecting piece is located in the top surface of the lower building module, and the other part thereof is located in the bottom surface of the upper building module; and at least one connecting piece in the top surface of each building module of adjacent building modules in the horizontal direction passes through a via hole of the connecting plate. Further disclosed is a construction method for the modular building. The modular building of the present invention is formed of a plurality of building modules by stacking, and the connecting pieces and the connecting plates realize horizontal connection and vertical positioning of the building modules and are completely hidden in positions between adjacent building modules, causing no impact on the appearance of a building. Components used in the modular building of the present invention are less, and positioning members and the connecting plates have good universality and interchangeability; therefore, the construction efficiency of the modular building is greatly improved.
