Abstract:
A building positioning method and an electronic device. The method comprises: detecting whether a strength value of a received GPS signal is less than a preset first strength value threshold; if so, acquiring a real-time coordinate point of GPS positioning, starting PDR positioning, determining the real-time coordinate point as a starting coordinate point of the PDR, and using the PDR to record a travel path of a user; wherein the travel path takes the starting coordinate point of the PDR as a starting point; and when no GPS signal is received, determining the position information of the building where the user is located according to an ending coordinate point of the travel path. Implementation of the embodiments of the present invention improves the accuracy of building positioning.
