Abstract:
Disclosed are a bullet shaped capsule for livestock product sampling and a livestock product sampling apparatus, for taking and storing a sample by cutting the carcass of a livestock product. The bullet shaped capsule according to the present invention comprises: an ogive; a cylinder container; a blade; and a moisture absorbent. The ogive is hollow; the cross-sectional area of the ogive becomes smaller in the direction toward the front end such that the ogive can penetrate into the carcass of a livestock product; and the ogive has an inlet hole, on the outer surface thereof, for a sample cut from the carcass to go thereinto. The cylinder container is extended from the rear side of the ogive, and has a chamber, which is in communication with the inlet hole, for storing the sample. The blade is formed on the circumference of the inlet hole for cutting the carcass. The moisture absorbent is accommodated in the chamber so as to absorb moisture from the sample and remove the moisture. The livestock product sampling apparatus according to the present invention comprises: a bullet shaped capsule; and a cartridge tube. The cartridge tube has a bore in which the bullet shaped capsule is accommodated to be movable in a rotational and translational manner. Furthermore, the livestock product sampling apparatus according to the present invention comprises: a cartridge strip magazine for containing the cartridge tube; and an electric-powered hand tool including an actuating device for enabling the bullet shaped capsule to move in a rotational and translational manner for cutting the carcass. According to the present invention, it is possible to take and store the sample by simply and sanitarily cutting the carcass by enabling the bullet shaped capsule to move in the rotational and translational manner by means of the electrical hand tool.
