Abstract:
Bump stoppers (115) mounted to the main frames (10) of the chassis frame (9) of a vehicle (1), the main frames (10) extending in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. A stopper body (116) comprises a panel which is formed so as to have, in a cross-section thereof in the horizontal direction, a bag-like shape having an opening facing the inside of the vehicle in the width direction thereof and also to have openings which are provided at both the top and bottom sections of the panel. The panel has ends on both sides of the opening which faces the inside of the vehicle in the width direction thereof, and the ends are, while being separated in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, mounted to a main frame (10) on the outer surface thereof in the width direction of the vehicle so as to serve as front and rear mounting sections (116c, 116d) of the stopper body (116). A contact member (118) with which an arm (92) makes contact is mounted to the stopper body (116) at a position near the lower opening (116b) thereof.
