Abstract:
A bumper 1 includes a body portion 11 to be mounted to a vehicle S. The body portion 11 has a plurality of openings 111 formed therein. The body portion 11 includes a plurality of regions having different areas of the openings 111 per unit area in the longitudinal direction of the body portion 11. The body portion 11 includes: a front plate portion 112 that extends in the longitudinal direction and has the plurality of openings 111 formed therein; an upper plate portion 113 that extends from an upper end of the front plate portion 112 in a direction away from the upper end of the front plate portion 112; and a lower plate portion 114 that extends from a lower end of the front plate portion 112 in a direction away from the lower end of the front plate portion 112. Among the plurality of openings 111, at least some openings 111 extend toward at least one of the upper plate portion 113 and the lower plate portion 114.
