Abstract:
The invention relates to a burner for peroxy fuels, comprising a fuel reservoir (102) and a burner nozzle (112), which is connected to the fuel reservoir (102) via a fuel line (104, 108), and a fuel supply pump (106) disposed in the fuel line (104, 108) between the fuel reservoir (102) and the burner nozzle (112). According to the invention, the electric pumping capacity (E) of the fuel supply pump (106) is adjusted in such a way that it is smaller by a factor of at least 0.08 than the electric pumping capacity of a fuel supply pump for an oil burner that has the same rate of heat release as the peroxy fuel burner (100).
