Abstract:
A burning furnace (10) for burning an object article uniformly within a short
time comprises a burning chamber (13) composed of an electrically insulating
thermal insulation material, and carbon muffle (15) arranged in the burning
chamber. An object article (17) is contained in a jig (18) and arranged in the muffle.
Electrodes (22, 23) are connected, respectively, with the upper and lower walls
of the muffle. An AC power supply (24), a power regulator (25) and a controller
(26) supply controlled power to the muffle through the electrodes, thereby causing
resistive heating of the muffle.
