Abstract:
A bush installtion member (1) formed of a bar-shaped member main body bent axially around a bending part and used as an arm member for a car, wherein the member main body (3) is formed of an aluminum extruded section hollow pipe material, a circular bush installation hole (9) is formed at both end parts of the member main body (3), and a bush (2) is installed by press-fitting into the bush installation holes (9), whereby at least the parts of the bush (2) on the bending direction side of the member main body (3) and on the side opposite to the bending direction side of it are supported on the peripheral wall part of the member main body (3) between a wall part (6) on the bending direction side and a wall part (7) on the side opposite to the bending direction in the thickness direction, and the bush is installed securely.
