Title:
BUSHING AND BEARING STRUCTURE FOR VEHICLE PEDAL DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/013336
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This bearing structure that is for a vehicle pedal device and in which a bushing is disposed between a support member and a boss suppresses the occurrence of abnormal sounds and backlash caused by gaps between each section. The cylindrical section 46 of flanged bushings 42, 44 has a bumpy shape in the peripheral direction, a plurality of a first protruding section 50 and second protruding section 52 are provided in alternation, when there is a contraction in the radial direction between the outer peripheral surface 56 of a collar 26 and the inner peripheral surface 58 of the boss 40, the first protruding section 50 bends/deforms in a manner so as to expand in the peripheral direction, and the second protruding section 52 bends/deforms in a manner so as to contract in the peripheral direction. Consequently, unevenness in the clearance between the inner peripheral surface 58 of the boss 40 and the outer peripheral surface 56 of the collar 26 and changes in the clearance during a pedal operation are accommodated by means of the contraction in the peripheral direction of the second protruding sections 52 and the expansion in the peripheral direction of the first protruding section 50. The support rigidity of the boss 40 is secured by the reaction force resulting from the bending deformation, and the generation of abnormal sounds and backlash of the brake pedal 12 is suppressed.
