Disclosed is a butt welded joint (1A) of a welded structure provided with: a pair of metallic materials to be welded (11A), a weld bead (12A), and a pair of alteration zones (13A). The weld bead (12A) is formed by irradiating the butted part between the metallic materials to be welded (11A) with the first high-energy density beam and has a width W on the irradiated-side surface. The alteration zones (13A), which each consist of only a heat affected section and a melted and solidified metal, are formed on the first high-energy density beam irradiated-side of the butt welded joint (1A) by irradiating the surface with a second high-energy density beam, respectively have a shape of a belt parallel to the weld bead, and are respectively positioned on the right and left of the center in the width direction of the weld bead.
