Abstract:
A valve element is configured by joining a first plate (576) and a second plate (578) to one another in a manner such that the center sections of the facing surfaces thereof have attachment holes (580) formed therein for attaching a shaft (520) by inserting the same therethrough. The inner-circumferential surfaces in which the attachment holes (580) are formed have pressure-receiving surfaces (596) which are not parallel to the joining plane (94) between the first plate (576) and the second plate (578). The shaft (520) has a rotational force-transmitting surface (582) for transmitting rotational force by pressing on the pressure-receiving surfaces (596) as a result of rotation.
