Abstract:
Provided is a button fastening member which contains almost no void in a post portion. A button fastening member (10) is made of a synthetic resin and used to attach a button (20) having an attachment opening (25) to a fabric (1). The button fastening member (10) is provided with a disc-shaped base portion (11); and the post portion (12) protruding from the base portion (11) through the front surface (11a) of the base portion (11), the post portion (12) piercing the fabric (1) when the button (20) is attached to the fabric (1) and then passing through the attachment opening (25) of the button (20) to be deformed thereafter. The post portion (12) includes a hollow (13) which extends from an opening (14) on the rear surface (11b) of the base portion (11) to a closed end (15) on a tip (12c) side of the post portion (12) in a concentric manner with the post portion (12); and a solid portion (16) between the closed end (15) of the hollow (13) and the tip (12c) of the post portion (12). The axial length of the solid portion (16) is set to be 1/5 or greater than the axial length of the post portion (12).
