Abstract:
The disclosed button lock is provided with: a lock pin that can engage with and disengage from, and move coaxially with, push-buttons; a lock plate that forms a plate key hole, into which the lock pin can be inserted, and a plate lock hole, which can abut against the lock pin; a reset plate that is parallel to the lock plate and, via a reset spring, can maintain and release axial displacement of the inserted lock pin; and a drive cam that links to a dead-bolt lock placed so as to be able to engage with and rotate in the movement range of the lock plate. Said button lock controls the lock plate via the lock pin when the push-buttons are pressed and can disengage the lock plate from the drive cam. A security information control device, which can slidably contain the reset plate and the lock plate in a parallel manner and sets security information for locking and unlocking, is removably mounted to the housing of the disclosed button lock, thereby: allowing manufacture and management to be streamlined; allowing mass production; allowing security information to be set and changed with the button lock attached to a door; improving defensibility; improving convenience and safety; reducing the strength requirements of the lock pin; and preventing malfunctions due to tampering with and mistaken presses of the push-buttons.
