Abstract:
Disclosed is a button that can be efficiently attached to a fabric, prevents slipping rotation of the button, and can reinforce thin fabric. The button (10) attached to the fabric (1) by a button attachment member (30) comprises a button main body (11) and a packing member (20) made of ultraviolet curable resin and that is fixed beforehand to the bottom surface (14) of the button main body (11). When the button (10) is attached to the fabric (1), a pin (32) in the button attachment member (30) pierces the fabric (1) and, after piercing through the bottom section (15c) of a shell member (15) of the button main body (11), enters a concave section (16d) of a core member (16) wherein said pin (32) is plastically deformed. The button (10) is fixed to the fabric (1) by this process. The packing member (20) between the bottom surface (14) of the button main body (11) and the fabric (1) reinforces the thickness of the fabric (1) at this time.
