Abstract:
Provided is a cabinet in which the placement function of a top plate can be expanded in a discretionary manner regardless of the arrangement state of a cabinet body, and it is thus possible to improve usability. The cabinet (2) comprises: a cabinet body (8) comprising a top plate (4) and a plurality of drawers (6a to 6f) or the like; a flat plate-shaped rotating pallet (10) that is parallel to the top plate (4) of the cabinet body (8) and provided to the top plate (4) while leaving a gap in the height direction (the Z-arrow direction) of the cabinet body (8) so as to enable rotation in the interval with the top plate (4); and a pallet support (12) or the like that is detachably fixed to the edge section (4a) of the top plate (4) and rotatably supports the rotating pallet (10). The rotating pallet (10) protrudes on the outside of the top plate (4) when rotated, and it is possible to change the amount of protrusion in accordance with change in the angle of rotation. It is possible to expand the placement area of the top plate (4) by placing equipment or the like that was placed for use on the upper surface of the top plate (4) on the rotating pallet (10).
