Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a cable assembly with improved durability. This cable assembly (1) includes a multi-core cable (10) and a connector (20) connected to at least one end of said multi-core cable (10). The multi-core cable (10) is provided with multiple core wires (50, 60), a shield layer (72) which covers these core wires (50, 60), and a sheathe (73) which covers this shield layer (72). The connector (20) is provided with an insulated connector substrate (32), a shielding pad (35) which is arranged on one surface (OS) thereof and to which the shield layer (72) is soldered, and signal pads (33) which are arranged on said surface (OS) and to which the core wires (50, 60) are connected.
