Abstract:
A cable bushing (2), in particular for a motor vehicle, for routing a cable run (5) having a plurality of electrical lines (4) through a wall opening such that it is sealed off comprises a dimensionally stable housing (6) for insertion into the wall opening, said housing surrounding a sealing element (16) which is composed of an elastic sealing material, wherein receptacles (20) for individually routing the electrical lines (4) in an axial direction (4) are provided in the sealing element (16). The cable bushing (2) also comprises a pressure element (24) which exerts a compressive force on the sealing element (16) in such a way that the sealing material surrounds the electrical lines (4) individually and in a sealing manner and the sealing element is pressed radially against the housing (6) in order to provide a good degree of longitudinal water impermeability. In addition, pins (42) are provided, which lead to an additional radial compressive force.
