A cable fixing apparatus for communications engineering, comprising an installation base (4); a surface of the installation base (4) is provided with a sliding recess (16), and two ends of the inner wall of the sliding recess (16) are each fixed to a cable fixer (3) by means of a sliding plate (12); an operating recess (14) is provided at the interior of each cable fixer (3), a gear mechanism (9) is installed at the interior of each operating recess (14), the center of the surface of each gear mechanism (9) is rotatably connected to a control knob (15) by means of a rotating shaft, and the control knobs (15) are each installed on the surface of a housing of a cable fixer (3); the top end of each gear mechanism (9) is connected to a first clamping and fixing rod (8) by means of an upper rack (13), and the lower end of each gear mechanism (9) is connected to a second clamping and fixing rod (2) by means of a bottom rack (10); and the first clamping and fixing rods (8) and the second clamping and fixing rods (2) are all connected to a clamping and fixing ring (6) by means of a fixing guide rod (5). By installing the movable and adjustable cable fixers (3), cable clamping and fixing positions can be portably adjusted; meanwhile, by using the mechanical transmission of gears, communication cables of different sizes and calibers can be quickly clamped and fixed.
