Abstract:
An improved system for terminating a cable housing on a Bowden cable system is provided that allows for the use on conventional end caps or ferrules while providing a wide variation of sealing and inner cable protection options. The Bowden cable system comprises a cable housing (24); an inner cable (22) adapted to actuate within the cable housing (24); at least one nose-less end cap (26) adapted to mount over an end of the cable housing (24); and a nose piece (32) adapted to mount over the inner cable (22) and between the nose-less end cap (26) and a cable stop (20).
