Abstract:
This cable protection device (1) has a succession of adjacent roughly cylindrical shells (10) provided so as to be swingable with respect to each other, and is provided with a support member (20) which holds the shells (10) from the inside so that the shells (10) do not become separated from each other. In the support member (20), arm members (21) disposed corresponding to the shells (10) are connected by a flexible linear body (22) extending along a central axis (CL) of the shells (10). The arm members (21) each have: a base body section (21a) connected to the linear body (22); and a plurality of arm sections (21b), each of which has one end portion connected to the corresponding base body section (21a) and the other end portion connected to a surface on the central axis (CL) side of the corresponding shell (10), and which are disposed at equal angles around the central axis (CL) and extend outward in the radial direction.
