Title:
CABLE AND SERIES OF BOX-SHAPED STRUCTURES
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/239773
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
In building a bridge by girder construction, the construction cost for long-span beams is high. The present invention resolves swaying and vibration in stressed-ribbon bridges and suspension bridges as well as weak points in permanent anchor structures and the like. This construction method for beams and protruding connection structures does not employ girders or timberwork, and by this method, beams and arch-shaped structures are constructed by tensioning a tension member in a state of being suspended on a cable in a similar manner to a stressed-ribbon bridge. Thereafter, the beams and arch-shaped structures are installed on an abutment and formed into a permanent structure. Additionally, by injecting a solidifying material into the beams and arch structures, it is possible to construct strong coupling beams and protruding coupling structures quickly.
